Ligue 1: Pogba called up for the match against Paris FC? It's "possible," says Pocognoli

The AS Monaco coach spoke after the victory in Nantes on Wednesday. He notably addressed the Paul Pogba situation.
Monaco coach Sébastien Pocognoli indicated on Wednesday that it was "possible" Paul Pogba could be included in the squad for Saturday 's Ligue 1 match against Paris FC. "It's possible he'll be reintegrated" into the group, "there's still one training session where there will be a workload, and if he feels good (...) we would be following the process we had established, and it wouldn't be illogical to see him" on the team sheet, the Belgian coach explained.
Signed by Monaco this summer after a two-year suspension, the 32-year-old 2018 World Cup winner has suffered several injuries that have delayed his return to competition. The match against the newly promoted side will be an opportunity for Monaco to try and secure a third consecutive victory after their 5-3 win in Nantes, which propelled them to second place in thestandings , just one point behind Paris Saint-Germain.
Skip the ad“I think everyone who watched the match, whether Nantes fans, Monaco fans, or neutral viewers today, had a great evening of football,” Pocognoli summarized. While he felt his team “deserved (their) victory, in a very rational way,” he also felt they “perhaps put themselves in a bit too much difficulty during the match.”
“I’m proud because creating so much is the whole point of the game, but today we perhaps conceded a bit too much,” he continued, after his team had been pegged back to 1-1 and then 2-2, before Nantes pulled it back to 3-4 with ten minutes remaining. “We need to find the right balance between our periods of strength, capitalize on them, and also avoid giving away moments of weakness, because I think we were the ones who gave them away today,” he emphasized.
He also deemed his team's second place "anecdotal because I think the league is very tight, and we know that things can change quickly from one match to the next." "Of course we talked about it in the locker room, because it also gives a lot of positive energy to say we're second (...) but we have to quickly keep our feet on the ground about it," he added.
